Describe the fault before replacing the key
A broken casing, a worn blade and a remote that stops responding are different problems. Say whether the buttons work, whether the key still starts the engine and whether a spare behaves normally. Include when the problem began and any drop, water exposure or battery change. Visible damage can be photographed, but the outside appearance alone does not prove which electronic parts work.
